*sigh* This has been a difficult few weeks. Work, school, and a bit of sickness have made everything more challenging. There is an end in sight, though. Isaac's school is getting better and everyone feels better after extra sleep.
Alex's parents came into town for Isaac's birthday. We had a great time celebrating with them. On Saturday, we went to the Botanical Gardens. The weather was perfect and we had a awesome time. If the kiddos weren't so tired, we could have done more, but three hours there was enough.
Isaac had a great birthday with his family and a special Wall-e birthday cake. He had so many awesome toys and gifts. I'll have to take some pictures of the robot and his tent. Very cool.
We celebrated on his birthday as well. He received a weighed blanket that he sleeps under EVERY night, new shoes, a toy EVE, and new books b/c our bedtime selection was getting stale. Thank you everyone!!
We also went out to eat at his favorite place - a BBQ with good nachos and applesauce. It's the little things in life that make it so sweet.
