Making it

We are all doing okay. We are in the rainy/mud season, so we've been a bit cooped up.

We are working with Isaac to do homework each day before he can play with his tablet. We work on tracing letters to encourage good grip. In this picture he is "trimming" hair to get better with a scissors.

Roy has been doing a good job of watching over everyone. He's such a tolerant and good dog.

When we do go outside, it is between rain showers, but they need some fresh air. Here Isaac is holding a branch, counting down, releasing it, and running around. Whatever makes you happy, kid. I love his imagination.

Asher is always happy to be outside, but he doesn't always let me take a picture.

Yay for a Paw Patrol sweatshirt!

This morning, Isaac and Asher were watching Baby Einstein while they ate their breakfast. Asher pointed to the TV and said, "duck!" at which point Isaac said, "Mom, Asher can talk now!"  I had to explain that he is learning slowly.

Asher is saying more and more things; we are starting to see the language explosion now. We've been expecting it since the fall, so I'm glad it's here now.
