Christmas with Alex's family

We had a great time. We came in on Tuesday evening and were able to spend time with Alex's sister, Mom, and Dad.
Isaac quickly found someone to read to him.
The next morning, we had a great breakfast with Alex's brother, sister-in-law, and niece.  It was great seeing the cousins play... and of course, grandma.
Isaac displaying how he plays with Grandma... wiggling and rough housing is the best.
Have we mentioned he likes it when people read to him?
Playing with his cousin.
Then we got to open presents.  Isaac had a great Christmas haul.  Happy Birthday Jesus!  There were so many presents.  Toys galore.

We found out that Isaac is a bit young for opening his own presents and figuring out what to do with them.
Fortunately his cousin showed Isaac how to open presents.
Such as drumming.
Isaac discovered the awesomeness of a door stop with Auntie.
After visiting with my family, we stopped in again to break up the trip home and were able to spend a little more time with Auntie, Grandma, and Grandpa.   I think Isaac warmed up to everyone by the number of giggles and smiles he shared.

  1. I love that Isaac was the center of attention! As it should be! And it's so cute that he loves for people to read to him! I wish I was around! Maybe we could try that on Facetime!
