Movements

It is a universal rule that babies move around and make your belly look alien-like UNTIL you pull out your camera.  For weeks I've been trying to capture the little guy on video.  Just like his daddy, he's camera-shy. I recently was able to trick him into moving by eating a banana and being prepared with my phone.  Today is the day that I share what I've captured.  It's still a little more subtle than other movements, but this at least shows you.

He moves at the beginning, but you can at least see it.
You can see him in this one as well, but then I laugh for about 2 seconds.

We also just harvested our garlic.  Hooray!  Once it dries thoroughly, the elephant garlic, which has 3-4 cloves per head, will be ready.  It was fun to grow, but I'll know to do a few things differently next time - like cut the flowers off as soon as the sprouts appear & dig them up before all the leaves have died.  I think ours may be a bit too ripe as the heads have started to open a bit.  Oh well, we'll see how they turn out.

Also, an update on Roy.  This heat sort of snuck up on him.  Whenever he comes back from his evening walks, he's tuckered out!  I tried to get a picture of him laying on the floor with his tongue out, but he moves when I get my camera.  This will have to do.
