Dragons & small update on the Master

I realize this is an odd title, but it will make sense.

I recently tried Dragon Fruit.  There was a big display at the grocery, so I thought I'd give it a try.  It turns out to be much more fun to look at than to taste.  To me, it tastes like a very mild honey-dew melon with a mouth-feel of a kiwi.  To DH, it has no taste.  Later he said it had a mild dirt-flavor.  Needless to say, I didn't make him try anymore after that.  Oh well, it was fun to try something different.

Also, just a quick note on the master bedroom.  When I first announced it being completed, I didn't have a mirror.  Well, we do now:

What do you think? I think it goes well with the large black framed Monet print, which you can see in the reflection.  Perhaps I should have gone with something larger, but it works.

And, just because he is so cute, here is a picture of Roy.  We've discovered he likes taking care rides.  I think it is because he can look at everything easily through the back window.

  3. I've never had dragon fruit, but we play dragons all the time here...which is just running around with Olivia on your back scaring people by yelling "Roar!"

The mirror looks perfectly proportioned to the room! Love it!

Roy looks so big!! And cute, and mellow! I'm so glad he's your's!
