Family

Alex's parents and niece came in for the holiday weekend. It was wonderful seeing everyone. The kids got a kick out of playing with family and going different places.

We also celebrated Isaac's birthday again with this side of the family. I love it when he gets practical and fun gifts. Isabel and I made a wonderful triple-almond cake because you have to have cake to celebrate a birthday.

Isaac received outdoor toys, books, clothes, and a crazy fidgety-puzzle thing.

After Grants Farm, Library visits, playing around the house and yard, and Grants trail, the visit was over. Isaac is already planning when he will see them again. It's sweet.  

I distracted the boys by keeping them busy after family left. This is Asher being daring when I'm taking down the garden and didn't look for 30 seconds.  Oh crazy boys.

Unfortunately, Isaac woke up yesterday with a cold. He promptly shared it with his brother. Asher was up a lot last night, so I am home helping today taming barking seals.
